Hot on the heels of a new, state of the art greens maintenance vehicle, Fairwood Park Golf Club are pleased to reveal six brand new electric golf buggies.
Provided by local, family-run business Celtic Mowers, the Yamaha buggies are replacing the previous fleet of golf carts and are part of a much larger investment strategy by the new owners.
“We have big plans for the club,” said new owner Rhodri Evans, “and upgrading the equipment is high on our agenda.”
With a vision to make Fairwood the leading course in Swansea, Rhodri and his team have laid out an ambitious five-year strategy that encompasses all aspects of the club and its course.
“We want people to have a fantastic experience when they come to the club,” continued Rhodri, “and for us, that means making sure everything is the best it can be, from the fairways and greens to the buggies, facilities and much more.”
Over the coming months and years, additional improvements will be made to the hospitality offering, the pro-shop, and many other parts of the club to make it appealing to both golfers and non-golfers alike.
“It’s certainly an exciting time,” said Rhodri, “and we encourage golfers from around the area to join us on our journey as we seek to become the best in the area.”
