The new owners of Fairwood Park Golf Club in Swansea have kept true to their promise of investing in the club with the purchase of a new greenkeeping mower.
The Greensmaster 3400 TriFlex™, a state of the art greens maintenance vehicle, is used at leading golf courses across the world, and it’s already proving a hit with members and management alike.
“We committed to an investment strategy when we purchased the club,” said new owner Rhodri Evans, “and when we outlined our vision to the greenkeeping team, machinery such as this was high on the agenda.”
Designed to take precision cutting to a completely new level, the 3400 TriFlex™ floats freely over the contours and undulations of a green resulting in a superior quality of cut and after cut appearance.
“It’s a real gamechanger for us,” said head greenkeeper Phil Williamson, “and we’ve already had members and visitors alike commenting on the high quality of our greens since we’ve started using the TriFlex.”
Manufactured by Toro, a market leader in golf course mowers and equipment, it has been designed with a huge range of features, from a lift-in-turn suspension unit to redesigned balloon tyres for tyre-track prevention and lots more.
